Arriving at El Salvador airport. What comes next?
Plan the trip to your accommodation before you fly. This checklist helps you compare options and ask useful questions, even if you have not booked transport yet.
1. Check your arrival
Save your flight number and check its status before departure. CEPA publishes airport information and an arrivals board. If someone will pick you up, share your flight number and agree on how to contact each other after collecting your luggage.
2. Compare the full trip
Depending on your destination and group, compare a prearranged transfer, taxi, or rental car. Before choosing, confirm these details with the provider:
- Total price, currency, payment method, and possible extra charges.
- Enough seats and luggage space for your group.
- Exact meeting point and how to identify the driver.
- What happens if the flight is delayed or changes.
- Availability at your arrival time and cancellation terms.
3. Have a plan if things change
Save your accommodation address and a contact number. Ask your provider how to report a flight change. A search or an information request does not reserve a vehicle.
